Star Trek 60th Anniversary Celebration

September 5 @ 10:30 - 14:30

In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Star Trek, Starfleet Lodge invites you to a one-of-a-kind journey that blends history, imagination, and the spirit of exploration.

Our mission begins with a private tour of the Nike Missile Site SF-88, a fully restored Cold War-era installation nestled in the Marin Headlands. Here, we will step into a pivotal moment in history—exploring the technology, discipline, and vigilance that once stood as a shield over the Bay Area. As we walk the grounds and witness the preserved radar and launch systems, we reflect on humanity’s enduring drive to protect, to innovate, and to reach beyond the horizon.

From there, we continue to Fort Baker, a site of extraordinary beauty and significance, long imagined as the future home of Starfleet Academy. With sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the open expanse beyond, this location invites us to look forward—to a future defined not by conflict, but by exploration, knowledge, and unity.

This is more than a tour. It is a shared experience that connects past, present, and future:

  • History, through the preserved legacy of the missile site
  • Vision, through the lens of Star Trek’s enduring optimism
  • Brotherhood, as we explore and reflect together

Whether you are a lifelong fan of Star Trek or simply drawn to the ideals it represents, this excursion offers a meaningful and memorable way to celebrate 60 years of inspiration.
